Last year my book Seven Disciplines of a Leader was published by Wiley, and since then, all my proceeds from book sales has gone to organizations that serve veterans or their families. On this Veterans Day, I hope you’ll consider a donation to these worthy organizations.

Building Homes for Heroes. This amazing organization builds or modifies homes, and gifts them, mortgage-free, to veterans and their families.

Blue Star Families. This group helps military family members join with civilian communities and leaders to address the challenges of military life. With 46 chapters around the world, its programs include programs include Books on Bases, Blue Star Museums, Operation Honor Corps, Blue Star Theatres, Operation Appreciation and a suite of military spouse employment initiatives that include interactive Blue Star Spouse Networks and Blue Star Jobs.

Warrior Foundation. This organization assists our military members who are seriously injured and just returning home from war, suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder or traumatic brain injury, undergoing physical or occupational therapy, and warriors who have been medically retired and remain in our community.
